Grensgebied: (Borderland) is the magazine of the Union for Transgression. In each volume a thinker or writer is asked to reflect on borders, their premisses and origins and possible practises to transgress those.
In this first volume, Eef Veldkamp sketches a genealogy of transgression - tracing its origins to the Neolithic revolution. In a narrating way he argues that society came to being during this revolution, and with that also its problems. He hopes to rehabilitate the position of transgression in society as an actor of imagining and working towards possible futures.
The magazine is in Dutch.
